Inmate Quarantine and Isolation

Quarantine 

separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed or potentially 

exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.

Isolation 

separates sick people with a contagious disease from people who are not sick.

***Inmates are considered recovered after medical staff monitors for 14 days and inmates are asymptomatic.
****Inmates are quarantined for 14 days due to precautionary measures, i.e. escapees, GPS failures, returns from writs, pending medical procedures, etc.
